Biography

Dr Adam Moolna is Lecturer in Environment and Sustainability, leads the interdisciplinary Natural Sciences degree programme at Keele University, and plays an active role in the Institute for Sustainable Futures research centre (including a recent discussion paper focused on real world impact through delivering small-scale smart energy systems in Bangladeshi small and remote coastal communities). His expertise is in mainstreaming academic understanding to wider society, in particular for conservation and Blue Economy approaches to scientifically-informed whole society sustainable development. In particular, he has experience developing with commercial providers state-of-the-art test case mini-grid renewables and associated education and outreach programmes (including funding from UNDP and UK and Australian overseas aid).
